Dee's Basenjis

Dee's Basenjis is dedicated to the improvement of the Basenjis. The intent is to assure that the dogs produced from this kennel will receive appropriate care and will be protected from indiscriminate breeding, so that the outstanding qualities of health and versatility are enhanced. It is to be recognized that this Basenji puppy represents many years of careful breeding and is considered to be of extreme value both to the seller and to the buyer. Therefore the buyer agrees to provide all necessary veterinary services, will protect from injury and will not allow the animal to roam free in the community (i.e., shall maintain the dog in a fenced in area with adequate shelter.)

Deposits are non-refundable unless the puppy becomes ill or dies in the breeders care.

PRE-BIRTH: The buyer agrees to pay $300.00 deposit prior to birth in order to reserve the right to get first pick of the litter of the color and or sex desired. Only a limited number of pre-birth deposits will be accepted.

AFTER BIRTH: The buyer agrees to pay $300.00 at a time shortly after birth, to reserve the right to purchase a puppy from this litter after all pre-birth buyers have chosen their puppies.

All deposits will go towards the purchase price of the puppy. The balance to be paid in cash at the time of possession, or by check 10 days prior to pick up or shipping. This animal and registration papers applying to this animal will remain the property of the seller until final payment is made.

Buyer agrees to have this animal examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days after possession. Seller guarantees this animal to be free of any and all congenital diseases or defects and in good health to the best of her knowledge unless otherwise stated. If found unhealthy by (2) unassociated veterinarians* within this 3 days, and if there are any "congenital defects" with the puppy, seller will replace the puppy with another of equal or greater value. If no puppies are available, you will receive top priority on the next litter. If at OUR DISCRETION we decide that we can not provide you with a suitable replacement, we will refund your "purchase price of the puppy"(all shipping fees are the buyers responsibility) after seller receives the complete (2) unassociated Veterinarians* report/test results, and the puppy has sustained no injury after buyer took possession.

The buyer accepts complete responsibility for the health and well being of this animal from date of possession.

Seller guarantees that all shots are current, and deworming accomplished if fecal examination indicated it necessary.

WHAT MAKES DEE’S BASENJIS SO DIFFERENT ?

We add a special touch you don‘t find anywhere else!! From the time you choose your puppy, until the time your puppy leaves, we will keep in contact with you giving you written progress reports, and updated pictures of your puppy. If you don’t purchase a puppy until it’s ready to go, that's okay, We will offer to email you all the pictures we have taken, from shortly after birth to present.

We provide you with your puppies pedigree, vaccination records, toys, and puppy food. It doesn’t stop there, we are always available if you need help or advice. It doesn’t matter if the dog is 8 weeks or 8 years old. We want a good strong and loving relationship between you and your Basenji for life.

We realize that certain circumstances happen, and you may no longer be able to care for your Basenji, or you no longer want it. If this happens, please contact me first !! We will do our best to either find a suitable home for your dog, or take the dog back. I am always receiving emails from people wanting older dogs.
