Due to numerous problems shipping out on Delta,
we are now shipping with Continental airlines. This is the top rated airline for pet shipping. It is a little more expensive,
but the safety and well being of your puppy is our top priority.
Continental's PetSafe program will allow pets to experience these
safeguards when they travel as cargo, keeping them safe and their owners reassured:
· Dedicated 24-hour Live Animal Desk (1.800.575.3335 or 281.553.5052)
· Confirmed booking prior to departure
· Weather conditions constantly monitored at all points
· The ability to track and trace the animal from its origin to
its destination at: http://www.cocargo.com/cocargo/
· Personal handling in climate-controlled vehicles for connections
over Continental's hubs when the animal will be exposed to temperatures above 85°F (29.5°C) degrees for more than 45 minutes.
Continental is committed to the safe and humane transport of
all animals.
We now have a 4 hour round trip to take the puppies to San Antonio
International airport for shipping. Plus the fuel cost increase. Which has forced us to increase the shipping cost to $ 350.00.
I will ask you for your 1st and 2nd choice of airports to pick
your puppy up. Be advised that Continental will not take a puppy to any airports that are not “pet friendly” in
some instances a 3rd choice may be needed.
Because of the temperatures in the northern colder climates,
it may take a while before we can get your puppy shipped. If the low temperatures are below 34 degrees, we can not ship on
that day. I constantly watch the 10 day forecast for your location, when a day comes up that I will be able to get the puppy
out, I will make the reservations, call and email you of the flight information. You must be flexible and able to pick your
puppy up on any given day. If your schedule is hectic, you can have a friend or relative pick the puppy up for you. I will
need to know the name address and phone number of the person that will receive the puppy at the airport.
Please understand that flights sometimes may be delayed or canceled
at the last minute due to weather conditions or other factors that are out of my control. If that happens, I will contact
you immediately with the new flight information if I can get the puppy out on the same day, or we may have to wait for the
next available good weather day.
In the warmer climates, there should not be any temperature problems
shipping this time of year.
